Best QB after Rodgers? Who's #2?

Well according to this article, it's between Brady......and Luck. Wow, I know they have a thing for neck beard.....but wow. Not only do they entertain the fact Luck is better than Brady, but many actually pick Luck as #2 behind Rodgers. That seems very insulting to a four-time Super Bowl Champion......but what do I know?

Id say either Phillip Rivers or Andrew Luck tbh. I watch a lot of other games throughout the year with sunday tickets shortcuts (it's the whole game but they cut literally everything between plays so the games are 30 mins a piece) They take over games for their teams a lot of the time.

After that performance in the playoffs, they could at least wait for Luck to play another game to redeem himself. It's apparent that they are just marketing Luck to be the face of the league. They don't seem to like the faces that have been coming out the last few years. Like Bridgewater and Winston. So they're just rushing to throne him before the inevitable.

Why would either of them be the face of the league over Luck? One has a 6-6 career record and the other has yet to take a snap

Better now, Brady, and I may take him over Rodgers for one season.

To start a franchise, Rodgers, Luck, Rivers, Cam, in that order probably, Rivers is getting long in the tooth, but the dude can play.

I wonder why the media is not as obsessed about who the best player in the NBA is as it is in fall. hmm!

Oh, Eureka! They can't claim Ricky Rubio is the best.

It couldn't possibly be because the NBA only generates 60% of the revenue of the NFL (and 70% of MLB for that matter) or that the average 2014 NBA Championship series only had 1/3 the TV ratings of the friggin' NFL DRAFT, meaning that far fewer Americans are interested and/or emotionally invested in pro basketball. That couldn't be it at all.

Your schtick is so tired.

Err I hear them argue it all the time...? Between Lebro, Rose, Durant, Westbrook etc. Even more so with the GOAT between Jordan, Kobe, Lebron etc

    • https://www.yahoo.com/sports/article/versatile-2nd-db-named-panthers-154026075.html Smith-Wade's ability to play corner, nickel and safety makes him valuable to a young defense trying to rebuild after finishing last in the NFL a year ago. "Chau took advantage of an opportunity,'' coach Dave Canales said. "He made tackles. He had an opportunity on an interception, and he made it.'' Our defense has got to come alive for us to have a chance of winning our Division!
    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.
