PFT reporting that the Chiefs will use the non exclusive version of the tag on Houston.

This means another team could trade for him, but the asking price would be two first round picks unless alternate compensation were negotiated.

Long term in Oak or Jax if I had to guess.

 

 

They both need to spend money.  Oakland loves their "bad boys" and Gus down in Jax is a defensive guy.

 

The Oakland "bad boy" thing is in the past, at least on the player roster. Now, their fan base is another story...

 

Coming from a life-long Raider fan and former season ticket owner.

At his age, and for only a 10% pay raise from the LB to DE....that would be really dumb.

 

He could never recoup the lost wages.

 

Its kinda dumb all around. They should just make a rush LB tag and let them set the market for that. I understand the players frustration and I understand why the team does not want to tag them as a DE.
