I would like to ask for the Huddles help.

First off, I'm sorry for doing this but the Huddle has become an extension of my family of sorts.

That said a close friend of mine came close to losing his life on the job. While we are ever so thankful it looks as though he will pull through, it looks as though he will lose at the very least the ability to use his left hand.

Anyone who has met me knows why this means a great deal to me.

All I want to ask from you, my huddle fam, is that no matter your background faith or creed, please offer up a prayer for my friend so the he may fully recover.

I hate to interrupt your day with this but it would surely mean a lot to me to know that you all are keeping him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you all so much.

***UPDATE***

My friend is out of surgery and resting. I spoke with his GF and she said he was able to squeeze her hand a bit. Now it's far from over, but what a tremendous sign. This makes the doctors much more confident that once the swelling subsides they can improve function even further.

Thanks again to all my Huddles.

***2nd Update***

This morning much to the amazement of the doctors, he was able to not only move his hand but touch each finger to his thumb.  Nothing short of miraculous considering the extent of the damage to his arm.

Keep up the support it truly has made a difference!

You got it, dude.

I hope that I don't sound callous by saying this, but if he does lose the use of his left hand, at some point, tell him to keep pounding with the other one.  I mean that in the most sincere and best way possible.

Will do L-Town, and I will say this guy is lucky to have you as a good friend - you are a great example of living life with a limitation and still getting out there and doing your thing.

Prayers sent.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
