The fact that Wilson and his agent feel they should be paid for PREVIOUS performance is straight up arrogance and asshattery. The entire point of "building through the draft" and "hitting on late round gems" is the contract that comes with picks made in rounds 3 - 7. The team deserves to benefit on those contracts. Just because a player turns out to be a baller doesn't mean he deserves more. That just means your team has a window to use that player cheaper than normal.
