Definitely a Gem and glad we signed him.

I remember they were talking how when they broke the huddle.  He always yelled break or something to that effect.  Kind of motivating the rest of the players.   Guys like him are infectious.  Get a couple like him.  Big and Nasty like Williams is supposed to be.   We'll have a mauler front line like our defensive front line.

Nasty Hog Mollies.

I know we need him at guard , but could he be transitioned to tackle if another starting guard became available ?  Would he have what it takes ?  Just thinking that it might be easier to find a quality guard than tackle and this guy looks determined enough to do what ever it takes to play.  I mean he would be better at tackle than Amini I would guess.

Just doing some reading, and Norwell is 6' 6" and played some Left Tackle in college so this really isn't too crazy an idea.

A lot of lineman make the mistake of overextending.  They forget the angle the DL needs to take to get to the QB and they chase the DL, losing most of the time.  Norwell gets it.  He does not waste motion.  Been saying that since last season.  I LOVE Norwell.

It looks like he has the athleticism, footwork and hands to consider at Tackle, but the problem is that he isnt tall enough or have enough wingspan.

He is fantastic at guard though.

6' 6" isnt tall enough to play tackle? And while 33 5/8 inch arms arent ideal it is still longer than the Premier tackle in the league in Joe Thomas

    • Yes you know I will make my negative comments about Bryce Young’s quarterbacking, darn right. As long as he is inflicted on us. I wasn’t trying to then though. It probably is just hard to see stuff complaining about a constricted field, likely a limited passing game, and references to a game manager ceiling, tippy toes, etc, as positive. I was thinking about adapting the pro game to his game. Trying to visualize what that will look like. Trying to imagine how they were going to go about it. Same as I was doing last year, but that arrived totally DOA and just ghosted. So we have yet to see what a custom fit 'play to Young’s strengths' offense would look like. I can see in my mind a way it would work, or function. It really isn’t the kind of ball I care about watching though.  Real innovation could make it into something that works in a way that hasn’t been tried, which would be real cool. But the odds say nah,  we are not going to witness the birth of a new and revolutionary NFL trend, not here, not with this bunch. It is gonna the small ball point guard express with lots of handoffs.  Zzzzz.
    • I mean like he’s gonna announce a change. Lav isn’t either. Only thing I believe is that there are no players sitting or coming in and that Freddie is starting.
    • It’s not just to mow but I also trim, edge, and blow.  Just mowing takes me like 30-40 mins especially as I got better at driving that thing.
