Both teams were beating themselves all day, just the Jags did a better job than the Panthers.  Sad to say

If anyone beat themselves, it was the Panthers. Jacksonville still lost with the Panthers handing them free plays.

in all seriousness, i hope the Panthers are taking a hard look at all the ways they nearly beat themselves today. it was a win, and i am rejoicing. But playing like they did today is not going to win us games past week 4.

In a lot of ways he's right.  But, he probably should've went a step further and taken the blame himself.  He was terrible today missing open throws all over the field.  If the Jags had competent QB play today we may have been in trouble.
