Ok saw the replay, Brockel did look like he was blocking before the pass. But it was just a bump like a DB does within 5 yards. Was it past 5 yards???

It wasnt illegal man downfield, it was PI.

Brockel impeded the defensive coverage by blocking and he didnt even try to sell running a pattern. It was a clear pick play.

Yes agree, that call should not have been made.

 

The refs are not the reason that the Aints are beating the Panthers. 

Defense is playing too soft.

The penalty on Brockel coulda gone either way, but the refs are making it clear every call will go a certain way.  There have been numerous blatantly bad calls and the Brockel ticky tack call (he didn't grab him or anything, it was within 5 yards, but he shoulda kept his hands down) is just a drop in the bucket so far in this game.
