Rob Ryan Fired

I have never understood the hype behind Rob Ryan, his defenses are always bottom of the barrel and he is considered such a defensive coaching commodity.

 

No one has ever taken my side, but Herm Edwards also sucked as a head coach, terribly.

Not scared. New DC  in mid season can't make tackles or rush the passer. Suck before and they will suck after.

Welp... I'm not as worried about the Saints game now as I was. Not that I was very worried to begin with. That team is in total disarray.

How the hell was that record set in the 60s. They must have been a special brand of awful to set that record in that era.

Don't expect the Saints to get better, but this was a move that absolutely had to be made. I'm hoping they clean house on defense this offseason, unless we see a dramatic turn around. Even then, I'm all for firing everyone. 

This has been coming for a while. It's culminated Sunday. Rob stood on the sideline alone, not talking to anyone on the defensive staff or to his players. Players weren't talking to players. 

Im happy about the move. But sad because it was done too late. He should have never been kept in the offseason.

I bet the moral in NO is fairly shot...  That makes them dangerous.  When we play them, we have to forcefully remind them that their season is done.  I don't want them to get fisky and try to get some momentum going...

When it gets to the point when nobody is talking to anyone, then it's over. S. P will jump ship or be fired in the offseason. Cap problems won't help. You had your glory aftet the Katrina nightmare. Might be a while before you guys are back.

are you kidding? they are on cloud 9 with ryans firing. they could not be more excited and are dancing on the saints report as we speak.
