Richard Dent says he would knock Cam out

"Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has done a lot of dabbing in the end zone this season, much to the chagrin of opposing defenses."

Now, correct me if I am wrong. But, to the best of my knowledge, Cam has only dabbed twice in the Endzone. Once against the Titans, and once against the Failcants while he was waiting on Ginn Jr. I know I am an older type person. But...two dabs sure don't seem like a lot. I guess if you are a hater, two dabs is two too many. LOL

"His head is so high," Dent said. "He's going to have a problem after he's finished playing - personality-wise - if he doesn't get to where he wants to be."

Me thinks Mr. Dent needs to take some time out of his busy life to maybe actually meet Mr. Newton. This statement is so far out of left field it smacks of ignorance.

Hate Cam if you want. No sweat off my back. Actually, I enjoy the pain folks are enduring trying to find things to fuel their hate. All I ask is that maybe you could you know, use facts to base your hate. Please stop making things up. That is just plain...hateful.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
