Are the DE's really performing THAT bad? Because I know KK and Star are doing their things...

Overall yes, they're not doing well. While sacks don't tell the whole story, only one sack in the past 5 games from a DE and the eye test says that they aren't getting much pressure.

Need to see more Delaire and Ealy. Tired of seeing CJ walk to the line, never get in his stance, than get stood up immediately. One of the few negatives I can say about Riverboat is he's  loyal to a fault to his veterans. Hopefully during coaches tape session this week he'll decide it's time to move on.

What the Bears are paying him isn't relevant.

Exactly, its simply they got prepped for the playoffs, 6 games to early. Your old you get gassed going vs. someone thats 22-26. I love this coaching squad but they gotta learn to rotate this year... just cant ride it.

With KK and Star in the middle these guys should be having a field day coming off the edge. It's not like there's a huge pocket in front of the QB for him to step up into, KK is collapsing it by himself most of the time.

This is the worst part for sure. They should be feasting on mainly 1 on 1 matchups.

I just couldn't help but watch that Atlanta game and think 'what if'...KK and Star were DESTROYING their guys off the line a majority of the time, but Ryan could drop back even further without fear of any end rush and complete his passes all day.

So try something else.  I.E. differnt personel at the DE position.  Blitzing corners and linebackers is not the answer here even tho me may not have much of a choice.  There simply is not enough speed in the secondary to make up for the blitzing defender.

I was wondering if they could move short to the DE on passing downs, although perhaps that would weaken the middle to much.

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
    • Proper stud that would look even better if they could upgrade Scott. And get a resemblance of pressure on the QB
