Embarrassing thread. People are going off on this woman's looks and calling her a bitch for....one lone tweet about not liking Panthers Spirit Day.

Shame on all of you. A throwaway tweet by someone I've never heard of brings the GamerGate out in you guys? Step away from the computer.

GamerGate is a great mention.

Emily looks and talks like the perfect example of the feminist and social justice warrior who lives in a Permanent State of Offense and will destroy bystanders reputations and employment for no other reason than it advances her "cause".

I can see why she is a former Observer employee. Clearly she does not like this city.

I was born and raised in Raleigh and went to college in Charlotte.  I totally disagree with her.  She seems like one of those 'grass is always greener anywhere but here' type of folks.

Instead of telling a child no you can't have that,  parents like Emily don't want to be put in that situation. If she isn't a Charlotte fan I doubt she is a Panther fan.  So it must be the school's fault for promoting support for the local team Because it encourages school spirit and your kids don't have any panther jerseys because you don't like the team.  Too bad. My kids would have no problem wearing their jerseys to school. They wear them to the games.

Seems like a consistent complainer. Sometimes there are things that need to be addressed and just because there are people who agree with you doesn't make you right. I'm not a parent, but I will tell you that I intend to choose the crosses that I choose to bear carefully. Kids need positivity. Not sugar-coated, but they need to be shown how to look at a situation in the real world and find the good that can be gleaned from it. Yeah, the NFL is a money-grab for a bunch of billionaires...yep. Absolutely. BUT this team is comprised of players from all walks of life, working together to attain a goal. Forget the logos, or the jerseys, that applies ANYWHERE. She missed an opportunity to impart some life lessons on her children. That's sad. She missed an opportunity to rebel and spend time with her children making Panthers or any shirts showing them that you don't always have to follow the crowd and fostering creativity. She missed it.  My hunch, she'll continue to miss it. She's too concerned with other people.

Don't click on any of her articles. This seems to mostly be an attention grab.

Going on about how awful it is to spend money on Panthers shirts. Then in the next tweet berating NC folks who haven't been trekking though the cities of Europe and Asia and think the buildings in Charlotte look nice. Piece of work.
