Why did we go for 2?

Go for 2 and miss would've made it a 25 point game.

Go for 1 and make it would've made it a 26 point game.

Go fro 2 and make it would've made it a 27 point game.

ALL of them are 4 score games, with less than 6 minutes left. This was more of a statement or practice as suggested than something to keep the lead.

A 27 point game means they get 3 td's with 2pt conversions and they at best tie.  That was definitely what they were thinking.  Although making a statement was probably part of the equation as well.

There are times you go for two and there are times you don't.  I questioned why Arians went for 2 after their 2nd TD.  No matter how you did the math the extra point wasn't going to help them.  I believe it shifted from 20 to 19 points.

I think it was Arians being a cocky SOB and when we scored.  Riverboat Ron was pissed.  And basically took that point back, not that we needed it.

They had no answer for us.  NONE.

I know not many were left from the Debacle of the 2009 playoff game but that clearly wiped out some ghosts on our closet.

41-15 = 26 Pts. So 3 TDs(3 2-PAT) = 24 + 1 FG = 27 which puts it at 42-41.

Go for two and we're up 27 Pts. The best they could do is tie us with 3 TD and 1 FG.

guys this is the reason, I'm sure the Panthers weren't happy about the disrespect but the only reason you go for two in that situation is because being up 26 is a bonehead move.

What it basically did was set the clock back to zero after Arizona had converted their two point conversion.

If we had been wanting to lay it on why did we kick XP's from there on out?

I understood why Zona went for two.  A 19 point deficit means that two more td's and two point conversions makes it a 3 point game.

It was about dominating in every aspect of the game... A change of mindset. Everyone answering the bell... Putting the Cardinals out of reach, finding something to get better at, and troll the entire world at one time.

I wanted them to put up 50. But ya know... Sportsmanship and southern hospitality...
