Training Camp Coverage...

Looking forward to seeing KB and Cam get back in rhythm, also want to see see the CB battle. We will need to see someone emerge for our season to be a success. Offense I think we can contend with anybody but our secondary is very suspect. We will need someone to come along quick. Also want to see the WR battle.

I doubt it happens, but it would be interesting to see if the offensive focus or even identity shifts at all this year. With Cam and the offensive weapons, Stew's constant health worries, etc...do we become more of a passing team, and does training camp give any tells at all towards a potential shift?

Would love to see continued progression at WR, RB, and DE specifically. And I"m just going in hopeful and optimistic about the CB position. It's going to be a struggle this year IMO...hopefully some strides and progression give us hope for the position group in the future.

What I figure we'll be tired of quick, any talks about KK's contract not getting done and the sky is falling paranoia that will follow it

I love the pictorials you do, and I especially like the new format you had during the rookie OTAs. Keep those up, they're awesome.

The daily summaries with your observations are always a joy.

Stupid interviews with the players are always great. Asking non sequitur questions just to get a real, authentic and candid response from the players is always entertaining.

Find out which players are playing Pokemon Go and what team they chose. (team yellow for lyfe)

Interested in the following positional battles:

  • CB depth chart
  • Bottom of WR depth chart
  • RBs and if Wegher or CAP can overtake Fozzy. Also Rockhead
  • Safety depth/battles. Interested in how Marlowe is doing this year, if he looks improved. Depth is always a plus in teh secondary, especially with how young they are.
  • DL and how that depth looks. On paper we are thin at DE, would like to see if anyone of the young guys steps up behind Ealy and Johnson
  • The punters. Is Swayze Waters as good as his name suggests?
  • Return depth behind Ginn. God forbid he goes down, is there a plan B?

    • Some fun facts on last nights game.
    • I was reading through the thread seeing if someone would mention this. This is exactly what the Canes are doing and Tripp Tracy alluded to it on the Spittin Chiclets podcast when he said Taylor Hall was our Sam Bennett. The Canes and Panthers have always played identical with the main difference being Florida toes the line between physical and dirty. The Canes have stepped up the physical play this year and are inching closer to that line of physical and dirty. If I’m being honest, as a Montreal fan I wouldn’t love the fact that the Canes seem to be targeting Hutson but as a Canes fan I love it because this is what you have to do in the playoffs. Unfortunately for Montreal they aren’t an overly physical team outside of Anderson and Xhekaj; only the Avs, Stars, and Sabres average less hits per game than Canadians in the playoffs. The Canadians can still make this a series if they stop playing scared and turning the puck over simply because they are getting elite goaltending while the Canes are getting average goaltending but if the Habs continue to play with the yips and either Andersen steps up or Dobes regresses then this series could end in five.
    • I guessed Andy Reid too on that Price is Right. As if I had any idea….
