TRD had a knack for implying ridiculous poo but framing it up in a way that left him enough room to backpedal out of it.  like he'd post something that was just dripping with subtext and everyone knew what he really meant (matt moore > cam, etc.) but he'd go "whaaat?!?  me?  i didn't say that" when actually called on it.

Its a shame that all those people felt the need to leave just because they were wrong.

I thought Cam had potential to be really good, but it was gonna take years for him to become an NFL QB. I wanted Petersen or AJ.

That first game calmed all my fears.

I remember thinking that taking Cam (or any other qb) with the first pick was a high risk high reward option.  I am glad the front office took the risk.  Probably the best thing Hurney did for the Panthers.

This was my concern.  As someone with a numbers background, the odds of a DT being at least decent was better than taking a QB with very very little passing experience.  Missing on a first rounder was not good and further, missing on the number one pick in the draft has set teams back for years sometimes.
