What does Luke have to do to win DPOY over Watt?

As much as I love Luke, pass rushers can affect the game more than any position that's not QB. It's the same thing with the MVP being a quarterback award.

It sucks that Watt is basically on an island (well, aside from maybe Arian Foster and DeAndre Hopkins,) past and present in Houston. He's the only relevant thing, really, and he has the personality/endorsements to make him a more public figure.

We demanded answers!

But honestly, Luke was in talks to win the DPOY, and from what I gathered had he played the whole year he would have won over a lot of votes. Those 3 games hurt his chances at winning it but he was so dominant last year that his name was still mentioned.

Lead the league in tackles, get 2-3 more INTS than usual, 1-2 more forced fumbles, 1-2 more TDs, and a decent sack number. That will get the media to pick him over JJ.

Luke is probably the best but you could also say Watt is more dominating. As long as he is pushing 20 sacks, it will be hard to unseat Watt.
