With No More Financial or Emotional Ties to This Team...

I always find it amusing when people don't put money into PSLs, time into travel, and more into food, gas, hotel  calling those who do,  fair weather fans

PSL holder for 16 years.

I won't be attending anymore games until this team starts investing in fixing its personnel and coaching issues

and starts holding each and player and coach accountable.

I don't see that now.

1. How many mistakes is Ted Ginn allowed a season ?  He runs out of  the end zone when he shouldn't and stays in when he should run, fumbles are becoming a habit, the same with punt returns they have Byrd  use him  at least he runs straight and not parallel to run out in bounds

2. How many fields goals does Gano have to miss?

3. how many drafts and free agency before the tackle situation is fixed

4  how much longer before our QB too is held more accountable for his poor decisions and poor mechanics   Sometimes it's not all about him or his clothes or flossing his teeth or his GQ photo shoots

5  when an OC is in place with one semblance for what is working and what is not

6 when a coach is place that calls a lb over for a totally stupid ridiculous 15 yard cheap shot personnel foul that's moved a game winning field goal from 53 yards to 38 yards, and says 'you are too stupid and selfish to be in the field  sit  down until you get smarter '

7  that rbs and fbs over 30 need to move on....particularly one who has not played a full season in five years

this team this year is totally undisciplined, not focused, and possibly the stupidest team in NFL

And any of you who think I am a fair weather fan is more than welcome to buy my tickets from me. I, along with every other fan it that stadium, gave everything we had to that team last night.

Good on you some people are just suckers though...the Panthers don't deserve to sell out home games this year quite frankly.

I'm sorry, I can't believe I'm saying this but I agree with Danny Kanell. I'm done defending Cam Newton, he seems more interested in what he says in interviews than being the best at his position. Also watching the Panthers play last week was like having a revelation. I love them, and I will still be a Panthers fan, but I can't come up with any more explanations. That Super Bowl has debilitated their grit, and toughness. I'm gonna still follow every game on Sunday but I won't be emotionally attached to the final results anymore.

Here come all the Panther fan-internet tough guys to talk smack.

My club level PSL's aside, I guarantee you I have spent more money on away game tickets, hotels, plane tickets, and driven more miles to see the Panthers play than 95% of you.

Screw it, there is not a damn thing wrong with looking at a season and saying "I'm going to take this season less serious this year". Who are any of you to insult someone because they are changing their approach to the remaining games?

Am I demanding a refund for PSLs?  A refund on my Roaring Riot Membership? The gear I have bought, the home and away games I have attended? No!  I am (and others are) finding different ways to support the team, and that's fine.  By all means, enjoy this game however you feel you should, but above all, have fun!  When the game is not fun for you anymore, make changes.

I don't think it's fair weather.  I think it's the fact we're tired of this organization doing poo things after being great.  Simple as that.

This ^^^^^^

Why waste time watching grown ass men make millions to give half effort? I won't do it. If that makes me fair weather then so be it.

I turned down free tickets to the Bucs MNF game and I couldn't be happier with that decision.

I happily took free tickets to the game, drove 4 hours each way to see my team play. (I don't have the same local opportunities to see the games live like y'all, so every chance I get puts a smile on my face.  Until the end of the game, in which case the reward remaining was just the journey by itself)

I stick with the team no matter how bad things get. I'll watch every single game this season, but I'm not going to plan my Sunday around it anymore. I'll record the game sand watch them when I want. No need to watch this team live and miss out on other things. I did the same thing in 2010. I've actually been thinking more about the draft lately, and possibly getting rid of Gettleman.

Man....I live for Sundays during the NFL season no matter how my team is doing. Obviously I go to the games to see the Panthers win, but these weekends are so much more to me than whether or not we win the game. When I describe how we try and put together away game trips I always say something about how it's a vacation with a bunch of friends that happens to end with a Panthers game. Obvious we are there as fans and for the game, but getting to spend time in cities outside of Charlotte, seeing all the cool sights in those cites, and getting to meet a ton of new people is something I wouldn't ever change. High fiving and cheering those people is great, but sharing frustrations about the team is also fine. Because at the end of the day it's still just entertainment and on Monday it's back to the real world but I'm taking new friends and memories with me which will always be worth the investment to me personally

PS.....I'm leaving for New Orleans tomorrow. Spending 5 days in a city I love with my wife and her family mixed in with some parties with a ton of Panthers fans sounds freaking awesome to me. Even at 1-4.
