Final record predictions?

I am almost embarssed by my prediction of 11-5 but in my defense, as pessimistic as I usually am...sometimes to unrealistic expectations, I was trying to give a good optimistic outlook for the season....now.  I will honestly be surprised if we win a game the rest of the season but think we nab a least 1 or 2 along the way.

Ive held out hope really up till today.  7-9 or 6-10.  No reason we should have been in this position.  I didnt expect to go 15-1 again or go back to the Super Bowl but we should have been better than this.  Part of it was bad luck with injuries, part poor execution by players and our kicker, and alot goes with questionable front office decisions?  Should have brought Norman back after he fired his agent, should have done more to shore up the offensive line instead of picking a DT that has had no impact.  Teams shouldnt go from 15-1 to 5-11 or 6-10 without someone being held accountable.

7-9 is my guess. Just enough excuses that Shula keeps his job, no blue chip players in that range in the draft, we draft a MLB in the first cuz Luke will retire eventually and next year Cam wills us to another solid season (10-12 wins) but falls short thanks to poor coaching and not enough support added in the draft/fa.

    • well, players dictating things only works if you have the right collection of players to dictate things.  and in all honesty, not sure if we can answer if we do or don't as fans given......there are no Thomas Davis types around that we know are actually about X and Y (based on years showing it).  Collective team is too new to us to know what these dudes are really about in terms of players carrying the burden of culture.
    • Moore can be put in one of the vet spots on IR. No one will be checking for him at the start of the season. But I would be very perturbed if we tried to go all Gettlemagic and stash an obvious talent like Horn on practice squad like we did Butker. If we can get through this year, next year it will be obvious Moore and AT will be gone, starting namely with AT's contract.
    • Culture change comes from the top down, not from drafting a 3 and no D guard. I doubt Lamelo is gonna take his cues from this 20yr old kid lol. If Brandon Miller couldn’t change the culture with how good he is and how much he hustles on both ends, Kon Knueppel sure as hell ain’t changing it. Ace Bailey by all accounts is also a great teammate and hard worker, btw, who was drafted by a team he supposedly didn’t want to go to yet he immediately bought in. And he’s got actual length and tools on both ends of the floor. I feel this pick is going to age like milk rather quickly.
