Don't know.  Cam thrived without having a go to WR last year.  Everyone was an equal target.  89 messes that up and no way to know how it plays out.

89 to me was always he own ball of dynamite. He could motivate in game with his play but he was never a traditional leader here IMO

Smitty may not have been soft and cuddly but for all the people asking " who holds Cam accountable" Smith would have been the answer.

Cam is a grown man, not everybody who makes you better makes you comfortable. I think if they kept him instead of being scared he'd hurt Cams feelings, Cam would be a better player at this point. Coddling leads to complacency.

To be honest we have no veteran receivers and the truth I think funch and KB, byrd need someone else whose playing the game now to show them how its done..knowing that neither receiver was an true actual stud in college..we should have gotten veteran receiver, and CB to mentor the young guys.
