Let's hope so.

He will. I said in another thread, I was by the gate where players walk in, he was telling one of the security guards that if it wasn't a short week he would have played against the saints. Should be back this Sunday.

I like our backup OC and MLB. Oher needs to retire if still experiencing symptoms. This just isn't worth the risk for anyone in his shape.

Losing to Oakland will send us up the draft board, so I'm not too worked up about this game. It's good experience for our new guys, but this season is more or less over excitement wise.

What is Oher waiting on to retire? This is his last contract anyway. Unless he really needs the money he should walk away.

His paychecks i'm sure, probably saying all the right things to stay in the protocol. Hasn't he been saying stuff on social media? Isn't that frowned upon. Honestly, sounds like he's just riding out this contract at this point. I haven't heard of any other case taking this many weeks. I may be completely wrong but that's my gut instinct.

Edit: For starting players.

DE Mario Addison has his right foot in a protective soft cast. Wouldn't expect him to play for a couple of weeks.

Ouch. This will hurt the defense as much as Luke in my opinion, as he's one of our pass rushing DEs. Won't hurt our run defense though, considering Horton is usually in for those plays anyways.

Not really looking swell though without our disruptors.

I know we are a few plays/bad decisions from being 7-3 or 6-4 and still in the picture but damn this sure feels like what happens in the Super Bowl hangover. How many more key guys will miss time this year? Newton, Kuechly, Addison, Bradberry, Oher, Khalil, Stewart, Gradkowski, Butler, Klein, McClain, etc. have all missed at least one game and we still have 6 games left.

The receivers have somehow made it through but that's more because Cam can't even get the ball out to them.

Getting really tired of these injuries. Fix one leak and two new ones spring out. Have we've even had the same lineup of Uglies for two consecutive games or has the unit survived intact through a game? Doesn't feel like it.

You're really going to see how "average" Oakland is this weekend with all those players out.

Predicting the raiders to beat a team depleted by injuries..  Really going out on a limb there. I'd rather hope for us to win than be a negative Nancy

Concussions aren't determined with an essay or interview

    • Got to give some credit to the coaching staff on these. You can grab top talents but without good coaching, they just fizzle out. We've seen that a lot around here.
    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
