Official Falcons at Panthers Gameday Thread

Seeing the complaints about the refs brings me back to what Pereira saying the Panthers are chronic complainers. It was in poor taste and a penalty is a penalty, call it. But it brings a point that since Ron has been our HC, the margin of error has been very small. Penalties, turnovers, bad calls by refs "easily" knock us out of contention. At some point things need to change

This man speaks the truth. The ATL DBs have gotten away with murder today. This type of "coverage" makes a forward passing game virtually impossible.

Look at from a opponents stand point...if you know the other team has big slow receivers that can't run routes you are doing the same thing. Challenge the refs to call it and if they don't continue doing it. Easy

I knew he said cam complained but did he say other do as well. Of course if I was cam I would complain too. I don't get how we get picked on for complaint. ESPN always makes fun of us for that, but I see the Seahawks complain every play, guys like Avril and Sherman but media doesn't say poo about that.

    • Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
    • All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
