Voth "unplugging" BBR

Eh I'm indifferent on this. His idea was solid and exactly what this fan base needed from the media. Was not thrilled with him personally, and thought he didn't help in reaching the sites full potential.

with that said it was still one thousand percent better than the observer.

That sucks. I look forward to his perspective more so than anyone who covers this team. I also think he is more plugged in than just about anyone. I hope if he doesn't continue BBR he ends up covering this team in another capacity, maybe get to TV stuff.

Voth is overall about as well rounded covering a team as you can get.

He's a smart dude.

Obviously world's better than meatheads like Joe Person.

But some of his methods, and actions the last few seasons haven't really helped in preventing him from reaching this point. You could see things bubbling over at times.

One of the biggest downfalls of this franchise is the complete lack of transparency and connection with its fanbase.

Seems like no one wants to ask the tough questions of the GM, the President or even the head coach. I could be totally wrong, but I've always had the impression that if anyone did dare ask, they put their credentials at risk. And speak to the owner? Who would dare even attempt such a thing?

I remember the Sunday mornings around BOA from the early days until about 2005 when JR would make his rounds through the lots and visit tailgates and talk to people. Those days are long gone and it seems there is a huge disconnect between the fans and the people that are running the business.

The fanbase needs something like BBR just to give some honest and unbiased reporting instead of just repeating whatever the Panther PR department says.

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
