People say he has no passion and then they post this. Not only do they post this, but they act like he's a bad guy for doing it. I promise you would have loved it if TD did that to Russel Wilson though. And I'm positive you weren't mad at Cam when he ripped down the Seattle banner.

Keep things into perspective kids...

sigh

One of the least educated fan bases in the league. I will see you all at the Julius Peppers statue and jersey retirement ceremony. Can't wait to read all the posts about how Julius Peppers was a Panther legend and how amazing it is to have our first true Panther in the Hall of Fame when the time comes.

No, it displayed to me that he's a bitch.

Me hating Peppers wasn't about him leaving. Players leave all the time. I started to really dislike him because he was a 6'7", 285 lb pussy. The guy had no desire or conviction. That much became evident when he ditched us to avoid being a leader. He's also a true merc. Fug him.

I don't want him to come back and retire as a Panther. I'd spit on him. I don't respect guys like him at all. He's a coward who wanted out the moment things got tough for him.

Stay on your knees, Peppers. I don't want you 'mentoring' anybody on this team.

Your a Gettleman cuck that hates every player that leaves, it well documented.

The tragedy is ungrateful Huddle curmudgeons that revel in revisionist history and  piss on players who didn't have a "clean" break up from the organization, which most times was arguably more of a FO problem than a player problem.

Smartest and most accurate thing I have ever read on these boards.

Peppers is freak of an athlete and I was angry he left the way he did but as old John Fox would say.  "It is was it is."

I am not into interpreting others opinions but what I will say is this.  As great a player Peppers is.  He could have been so much greater.   If he had a motivation like TD and passion of Luke.   Peppers would have made LT look human.   We all remember games in which Peppers should have dominated and was blah.  Some games he would be that Freak of nature we loved and other wasn't any better than second tier DE.

We didn't miss him as much as I thought we would.   He moved on and so did we.   If the opportunity arose and we needed some help on the D-Line I would bring him home at a reasonable deal.   I wouldn't ignore the opportunity because he jetted on us years ago.   If he could help the DE position on this team even if it were in platoon I would sign him.
