No one else seems to have a problem but you.  If someone feels the need to move this I'm sure they will. I didn't put the thread here just responding.

Surprised you didn't make excuses for Giles.  Seems to be a Duke fans go to after last nights loss.

And Syracuse had 17 wins last night before that game.  That was not a good loss, just stop.

Their excuse is Amile Abdul Jabbar LeBron Jefferson. Thank God this softy ain't hurt anymore. When they get bounced early (again) in the tourney this year, we won't hear any whining about their 5th year senior who barely gets 10 a game and routinely man handled absence being the reason a roster full of burger boys and highly touted players underachieved.

team with a stacked roster finishes 5th in the ACC.  Yeesh.

I'm a huge Duke fan, but I blame Coach K's lack of recruiting guards for their issues. Look at there bench and it is all forwards and big men and one guard.

Also, Matt Jones should not be starting. He's a 6th man at best who can only play defense.

After the Larry Drew II debacle a few years back Roy said he'd never again be without a PG.  I was concerned following that we had too many PGs and not enough 2-3s, I've been proven once again that when it comes to building a b-ball roster I don't know my butt from a hole in the ground.

Big surprise a person from or lives in NEw York is a duke fan.

K doesn't develop big men and it baffles me how elite NBA prospect bigs continue to go there. He wants bigs that only set screens for his wings to do all the scoring.

Let me also point out that Duke shot 35 fuging free throws last night. That is a joke, and the refs single handedly kept Duke in the game when that cold have been a double digit win for unc.  Officiating is horrible in every sport and college basketball could be the worst of the bunch.

    • OK, we are letting our top RB go.  We have Chuba, Etienne, and Brooks.  Imagine a player who could LEGITIMATELY play the slot and back up at RB?  I am sure he'd be a special team player as well.  I noticed him at the combine, and thought, "Here is a late rounder who could stand out as a slot and provide depth at RB. Without further ado....(I know one Huddler who might be able to tell us more about this guy): Navy running back/wide receiver Eli Heidenreich headlined the 2026 NFL Combine for the Midshipmen, running an official 4.44-second 40-yard dash and recording 16 reps on the bench press. Recognized as a versatile, "Swiss army knife" offensive weapon, Heidenreich solidified his draft stock as a potential day three target.    Eli Heidenreich (RB/WR - Navy) 2026 Combine Performance: 6'0" 200 lbs.   40-Yard Dash: 4.44 seconds. 10-Yard Split: 1.55 seconds. Vertical Jump: 35.5 inches. Broad Jump: 10' 0". Bench Press: 16 Reps. Highlights: Showcased as a premier receiving threat from the backfield, having left Navy as the program's all-time leader in receiving yards (1,994). High character.  Smart.  Maybe, just maybe....
    • These refs are horrible.  They definitely got money on this game lol.
    • I don’t think the concept is bad thinking. That money this year is a ball buster, for getting nothing out of it.    gives him a little future location security and maybe hope that if he can get back we’ll pay him, with a renegotiation. Could give us some relief this year. That is kind of creative.
