It's a good trade for both sides. The national media is sucking Patriots d*ck right now and calling it brilliant just because Patriots made the trade. Any other team gets Ealy, this would be just a footnote.

Kony having a good season makes you have to pay him Star and Short then Vernon 2 or 3years later.. Now You draft a young Pass rusher and don't have to pay for 4 or 5 years.. Nearing the end of Star and Short..

meh, he wasn't a stud here. we stood to gain nothing by keeping him.

we effectively replaced a deeply underperforming player with julius fuging peppers and got better draft position for it. great move imo
