That was Ebron 3-4 years ago.

EBRON? You my friend are as delusional as I thought you were. Your opinion is now irrelevant to me and every other poster on this forum. May god have mercy on your soul.

I seen a lot of mocks with a TE at 8th? Panthers Fan here from day 1, 95! I feel like we do need a RB! I don't like the DE pick either when we lead the league in sacks! Finished 2nd in league with 48 an 49 was the best! So RB or CB is the tire need here! I'm happy we got back CAP41, still a need in that CB position! We had the worst secondary in the NFL! An I offense struggled to get anything going we need a explosive player on offense! What do y'all think?

And Ebron is top ten at his position. He was the top TE that year but not touted as a generational talent, certainly not to the degree of Howard. That's mostly reserved for post-AP runningbacks.

I agree, we need a deep threat WR more than a TE.

That's a valid point.

Debatable, yet valid.

But damn Goob... I swear, over the years, it seems to me like your preference would be a Cam-plus-10-WR offense lining up out there... lol.

Yes he was lol I swear, some of y'all easily forget. Bucky called him the best TE prospect in years and "a modern and more athletic Kellen Winslow Sr". The Huddle nutted every time he played DE. Give me a break.

Howard isn't a generational talent.

One guy. Ignore him and Howard is still scouting significantly better. And again, Ebron's one of the best TEs in the league so what's your point?

This offense needs speed, bringing in a TE wouldn't make much of difference.

I will continue my campaign of surrounding Cam with weapons. Until it happens

We should get a TE in this draft. Maybe not 1st round but by the 4th. Olsen is getting older and Dickson isn't very good. We need a RB and DE. DE is a place we may double dip, because we are old at that position. Our CBs got better through the year, but out passing stats were terrible due to not getting enough pressure with our front four forcing us to blitz. I'd be fine with a CB in the 3rd or 4th. But we need help bad a RB, SS, DE, OT and WR. Anything else is gravy.

Corner is not that big of a need. The secondary was bad at the start of the year, but both Worely and Bradberry came into their own, and with the changes made this off season they will be even better.

Captain in at nickel, which we play a majority of the time, is going to be huge.

Adams at strong safety is a ball hawk, and will allow Coleman to move back to free safety where he had 10 ints a season ago.

I think, RB, or WR is a bigger need, although I do agree that pick 8 is high for a WR this year.

Yes  we need another CB...a starter... Worley is another G-man backup needlessly thrust into a starting role...

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
