Start living in the real world guys

People rise up through the ranks.  How do you think McD got to be a head coach?  Some conspiracy?  New England has been pilfered for years, most successful teams have.

Beane can come back here in 8 or 10 years when Gman retires.

Groweth up

Yall may as well accept this as happening. The ball rarely bounces in favor of the Panthers. 2015 was an anomaly and the refs made sure it didn't happen again last year.

Because our owner is will to sell out his team for that stupid logo. All the while Robert Kraft is Trolling Gooddumb with another SB win.

Not worried about Beane  more worried about Gregory.

Me too.

If JR let Beane interview for the 49ers job earlier this year, then why wouldn't he let him explore the Bills job?

Logical.

But why not do it before the draft? I highly doubt McD had the ability to just draft anyone he wanted, and if him and the GM weren't on good terms, why not do it before hand?

Word on the street...McD was calling the shots during the draft.

Also, the "scouting year" starts right after the draft...this is a "new season" now, guessing that's why they made the move after.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
