We drafted:

Speed...

Shiftiness...

YAC..

Straight up play makers

We have a Big Ass MVP QB..

2015 #1 player in the NFL

2015 Offensive Player of the League

... a HOF TE .... (vastly under-rated)

We also have a HUGE WR who is a Giant Beast.

You as a Panthers fan need to understand...

He is the  most Dominant player in the NFL outside the numbers

Watch:

think of all the offensive pieces that make us dangerous....  Add this guy

whos the most potent and dangerous Jump Ball guy in the league?

Kelvin Benjamin

this is my plea to you as a panther fan... Realize what we have on offense..  We have all the small shifty guys we need.... Theres a lot of them in the NFL

not everyone has a KB

I for one wont under-estimate

i know what I have at WR, and I predict this guy is a generational player

Go Ahead, Hate.

Thanks for the KB love. He's not getting enough of that since he tends to get chunky during the off season, but he is a legit WR1. Adding speed and an actual slot guy is only going to help elevate his game. Now he just needs to live in the gym until he's in the shape he needs to be for week 1.

The thing that made me disappointed in him and made me lose a lot of hope for him was his lack of catching the ball in traffic. Just about any time there were defenders around and the ball was thrown to him, he would drop the ball. This was the reason we drafted him and he failed miserably at it. You can't be a red zone threat if you can't bring those in. He also looked to not show any effort at times either.

Huh?

VERY few instances had I actually seen this in 2016. Did you know he arguably was one of the most reliable receivers in 2016?

He improved his dropping problem dramatically. That's not the issue with him at all.

Yeah, drops weren't an issue last year like they were his rookie year.

Effort most certainly was.

    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
    • Absolutely. If we are talking about a 20 year old youngster. He's a grown-ass man, and he doesn't know what his job entails or how to do it? Maybe he will be better next year! It's the Panther way.
