Drafting Edmund Kugbila when literally the next pick was David Bakhtiari in hindsight he was the better choice for namely 1 reason WE NEEDED A GODDAMN TACKLE.

Trading UP and drafting Armanti Edwards.

Edwards was projected high 5th-mid 4th. Trading UP into the 3rd to reach to grab him was bad enough, but trading away the 2nd for next year which happened to be the 33rd pick. That helped set up a horrid 2011 draft (outside of Cam) where Every pick outside the 1st was gone within 2-3 years. Having that 33rd which essentially is another 1st would be been huge.

Meanwhile Edwards was rarely activated and cut within 3 seasons

Also guys picked around where we grabbed Armanti.

Eric Decker 2 picks prior

Navorro Bowman 2 picks after

Jimmy Graham a few after that

The same draft we didn't have our 1st (#17) do to trading up the year before for Everett Brown

Guys drafted around where we would be picked at 17 in that draft.

Earl Thomas, 14

JPP 15

Mike Iupati 17

Mike Pouncey 18

Damarius Thomas 22

Bryan Beluga 23

Maybe the biggest mistake was firing Hurney 2-3 seasons to late

Assuming Mike Remmers could handle von Miller and when he predictably  couldn't having no answer..... In the fuggin Superbowl.

Otah was our long term answer at RT starting the '08 draft. Remmers wasn't supposed to be there.

I can't follow your logic. Otah had his career cut short from injuries and our super bowl season was 4 years after we cut him. 4 years is an eternity in the NFL.. There is no correlation between him and our super bowl roster

The biggest mistake was not having Steve Smith for the SuperBowl. It would have been a different game completely. There would have been more fight on the field that day win or lose.

Cam would be a better QB. High expectations and consequences shouldn't hurt your feeling or maybe you shouldn't play in the NFL.

Denver was much meaner to Cam than Smitty would ever be. Smitty would have had his back all those times he got clobbered. There would have been a brawl instead of the giving up.

I agree. Otah was a good pick. He made an immediate impact. Injuries happen.

It is not like when the Panthers did nothing to replace their OTs after the 2013 season when Gross retired. The Gettleman era has been awful at addressing the OT position from Chandler to the contract given to Blind Side. Gettleman has not come close to an Otah type OT nevermind a pro bowl replacement for Gross.

I agree with uncfan888 100%!!!
