Everybody has it all wrong about Kapernick

I don't think he wants to, or he would take back-up money on a "prove-it" deal somewhere, hire a PR firm, and listen to them. This has nothing at all to do with whether one agrees with his activism or not; He would be stupid not to realize that it costs him fans and opportunity.  If he wanted to play, he would place that desire over the controversial statements he makes.

Even if he did want to continue to raise awareness over social issues, there are better ways of doing it than branding all police as slave catchers.  I just can't believe he doesn't see how that might impact the willingness of a team to hire him.

It looks to me like he's giving teams reasons not to hire him, while not giving them enough reasons to hire him, and using the resulting controversy to bolster his personal fame so he can focus on social and political issues.

How long until Training Camp again?

No one ever mentions that he's doing this all to impress his activist girlfriend. He must be really afraid that she's going to dump him for a real black guy with the narrative and hair overcompensations.
This is my first attempt at trolling. Did I do ok?

    • Rotating in Chuba was beyond stupid and really hurt our offense overall. We’ve been in a good rhythm the last 6 quarters or so but Canales figured disrupting that with Chuba would be worth it Rico fits this offense so much better than Chuba    As far as grades go I know that ain’t our RB1, starting Center and our supposedly deep WR room and exciting talented young TE in dead last. Weird. I wonder if that has any correlation on QB play  Even that first incomplete ball Bryce threw in the end zone that hit Legette’s hands. Legette had no business being there so early. Legette went into scramble drill when that ball was intended for Coker who led up because of the traffic there
    • Yeah Jets have pretty much been in every game they've played and have barely lost to really good teams. They are much better than their record says Imo
    • I kinda just wanna see what the offense can do with a QB who has proven he can move the football in the NFL. If Dalton wasn't a shadow of his former self I'd be fine with him but Father Time has definitely caught up with him. If we start piling up the losses as the schedule gets tougher and the passing offense continues to be anemic that might cast Canales his job and it's worth a very low risk move IMO to at least give him a fighting chance. The thought of yet another Tepper rebuild just isn't at all exciting to me having already seen a few of them. I'm about giving this current guy a fighting chance.
