Scouting the Panthers offense

Interesting screen grab I saw on Twitter from the Amazon series about the LA Rams season. This is how the Rams viewed the Carolina Panthers offensive personnel last year

I cleaned it up a bit to make it a little easier to read.

Looks like the color under each player mean something.

Cam is the only one that is deep purple. Maybe elite player?

Red appears to be solid players. Olsen, Kalil, Turner, Benjamin, Stewart

Brown looks like average or role players - Norwell, Funchess, Tolbert

Purple looks like below average or backups to me. Remmers, Williams, Ginn, Dickson, Fozzy

Yellow looks like the bottom of the barrel or possibly the inactive players? Bersin, Artis-Payne, Hawkins, Simoson

Pretty interesting to see how other teams see the Panthers offense. If anyone can make out any of the text below the players chime in. Also chime in with your own thoughts.

They've got Manhertz highlighted in black

Probably a total unknown.

Re: the classification, assuming this is correct it's interesting that they'd have Ginn rated at the same tier as Philly, Dickson, and Fozzy. Ginn definitely outperformed all three of those guys during his time in Carolina and was way more dangerous on any given play.

A player can outplay those three and still be terrible.

No one in the NFL is game planning for Ted Ginn. They know he is fast and more than likely will drop one or 2 wide open tds before the games out.

Very similar to what is thought of Shula around the league. He's a hack and everyone knows it. The exact reason no HC interviews for him. Everyone in the NFL knows he sucks except RR. On that note I Hope he proves me wrong this year

No way in frickin hell that's true. I know it's the Rams and their coaching staff, but even they can't feel that Norwell is anything but a beast. Can they?

Dumbasses.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27
    • Your intelligence is artificial.
    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
