Bradberry

Kid deserves just as much praise as anyone for the win today.  He pretty much shut down their #1 WR.  I only saw him beat on one play, everything was tremendous coverage and even made some plays in the running game.

True, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.   But good players also get lucky.  Make sense? lol

Actually, on that play Mike Evans had his hand inside the facemask which pretty much took Bradberry by surprise. He's been consistently great in his assignment.

Evans grabbed his face mask and pulled it down delayed him a second. Should have been a penalty and if he hadn’t of done that Bradberry would have stuck with him.

Now imagine year 3 Bradberry (probably when the ball skills start to show a little more) ...and year 3 Worley who "should" equal Rookie Bradberry... if we are lucky.

I think this defense is set as long as Luke is healthy.  Only real hole next year would be starting SS & Lb depth. Maybe NT depending on Star. On the flipside, pretty sure if the D keeps playing like they have Wilks wont be here too long.

Back to the topic though, Bradberry is silently overachieving...sadly, without the INT's his media recognition will remain low.

He did well, which is kind of his thing, he plays well. He keeps getting better, too.

Worley did well, too, and Coleman really was in there on a lot of tackles today. Munnerlyn was looking a bit questionable for a while, but then he popped Winston's hand at just the right moment.

Not sure Bradberry will ever be a big INT guy but if he continues to be an elite cover guy that's still just fine.

If not liking to get in on tackles, not averaging at least 1 PD per start, not forcing fumbles, and not getting interceptions makes for a great CB, then there are quite a few of them in the NFL.

Now, I do believe Bradberry may rank a top the NFL in luckiest breaks per game. Let's just hope he does not lose that luck, because that is all he has going for him right now.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
