Hayden Hurst Visiting Panthers

The TE position has been a key cog in this offense since Cam got here. Olsen has been the leading receiver more times than not. Norv actually knows how to utilize a 2 TE system, so Hayden wouldn't really be a 1st round backup pick. Olsen has already shown that his body and his desire to play are fading. It's time to bring in his replacement. It's already been a 7 year run. And to be honest, Hayden is a better, more willing blocker.

There are players I'd like over him, but I wouldn't hate it if he was the pick, especially if the board is decimated. The offense could definitely use his energy and style of play. He reminds me of a lesser Jeremy Shockey, wild and always looking to run someone over.

Color me one of the few thats not impressed with Hurst

Nothing really sticks out with him, he's not even close to the prospect Hunter Henry was coming out.  And he fell out of the 1st.

There are a whole lot more prospects that are going to be available at 24

Yep, I like Hurst but it's not uncommon at all for no TEs to be taken in the 1st round. I think this is one of those years.

If we go TE, Hurst does not excite me at all...I think Gesicki and Goedert have far more upside and will be much bigger playmakers in the league

Hurst is the real deal. He put up good numbers with awful QB's under center in the SEC. He could definitely replace Greg in a few years for sure.

It's rare since I'm usually right but when teeray wanted to make love to me and Snake and made a thread I showed up when we beat the Vikings after saying we wouldn't.
