Maybe we can hire an actual DB coach instead of promoting the guy that adds Oxy Clean to the laundry machines.

you know damn well we promoting from within. The road to 6-10 and the new panthers continues.

it must be boring having to talk to yourself on here. Still waiting for that one great post from you. So I refuse to ignore reading them. I know you have the potential.

But he's been around a long time, and his effort is unmatched.  Have you seen his technique?  I think Ron's had his eye on him for a while.

lmao at anyone who gives a sh*t if our DB coach leaves for what ever reason.

as much bitching about how bad our secondary played last year....it should be welcomed.

Now, right now after the draft a day after he talked about our plans for the new guys etc. Isn't it true you spend more time with your position coach than head coach or the DC. It's concerning we don't know whose going to be that person and rookie minicamp is tomorrow I think. If that's the case fire him with Shula the genius and move on.

Can't call Peanut. He joined the FBI.

I'm less concerned with why he quit (probably will turn out to be no big deal) than I am with who steps into his role.

This is a pretty big hire it would seem being we have 4 new DB and are trying to integrate our new DC strategies and techniques. Whose going to push the whole group to get the most out of them all bring BradB back from his Sophomore slump per say.

I'd love for it to be a pretty big hire but I'm pretty sure it's just going to be a promotion of Richard Rodgers.

Possible, but would you couch a health situation as "complicated"?

Yes. Especially if it was not his health but, maybe his mother's or grandmother's or children's or wife's, or from a death/illness in the extended family. Maybe it has to do with a package bombings survivor. Maybe he decided he'd rather work near his hometown (Ft Worth) and be there with help and support. Or not. We don't know but it's amazing (not amazing tbh) that you guys assume the worst.

If it were something like that, the line from the Panthers would have been "It's complicated and we're going to respect his privacy by not commenting at this time."  Instead what we got was (paraphrased) "It's complicated, why don't you go ask him."  Pretty clear that there are some negative feelings about the move floating around, almost no way it is anything like what you described.  Whether it was simply a relationship issue with other coaches/management or some kind of non-football incedent is unclear, but everything that has come out from the organization points to one of those two things.
