For all those spitting the Rivera hate let me point you to exhibit A on the worst coached game of all time... Number one rushing offense and you force the pass!!! Great Defense and you do not cover the only threat on the field.. Was in attendance for this one and was truly the most disappointing moment of my football life. Enjoy !!!

Try having the Panthers be 13-1 in games you attend (including 3-0 in the Playoffs) and the only loss being against the Saints and the world's two nicest old lady Saints fans are sitting near you just telling you when the Saints were going to score and how sorry they were about it after knowing I wasn't going to go home happy. They offered me fuggin sympathy hot dogs in the 3rd quarter. Never felt more weird at a sporting event in my life.

I was calling for fox to get canned in 2007. '08 made me a bit more patient then that game happened along with fox saying "we used the same game plan we used earlier in the year when we beat them. It worked then, why wouldn't it work now?" His reluctance to adapt and only make changes when forced by bosses set up some terrible years to follow.

stayed in my seat until the last second of that poo game ticked off.  i was one of the only people left in my section and remember watching the couple hundred-ish cardinals fans that were there gather behind their bench and celebrate.

The AZ game was the lowest moment for me because I knew it signaled the end of an era. I knew a rebuilding phase without Jake was on the horizon, and years of terrible Panthers teams were on the way.

Hate to tell ya, but the problem with bringing Fox up as a reason not to dislike Rivera is that Fox and Rivera actually share similar coaching philosophies.

First game my wife ever watched with me ( we weren't dating very long at that point )....needless to say, she got to see a very bad side of me pretty early in our relationship.  I think she then realized how big of a fan I was.

JR loved him some stubborn defensive minds. Rivera is just a stone throw from Fox.
