Luke was getting more and more animated whenever Captain was beaten as the game progressed. He knows it too. Teams are targetting Cap, and everyone can see it. Ron won't make a change though. He'll just accept the deficiency and hope the team can overcome it. I don't know how it would hurt to at least give someone else a chance to compete for the spot.

Can't throw on Bradberry, he's good in coverage. Shouldn't throw at Jackson, he's a star in the making. Throwing at Reid or Adams is just feeding the interception machine. All three linebackers can play in coverage on tight ends and are capable of popping an interception at a moment's notice.

Fast slot receiver working the slant pattern is the hardest play to cover one on one. Fitzgerald is a Harvard-educated QB with a good arm and tons of experience. Adam Humphries is an excellent slot receiver with an average of 10.6 ypc. Munnerlyn is going to be hit hard and often in the passing game, particularly when the Bucs are playing behind. Our nickle was going to get blasted today, whoever it was. Munnerlyn stayed in there and made tackles (4 tackles, 4 assists). I'm not sure a rookie DB doesn't get completely washed out as they keep picking on him.

Munnerlyn wasn't bad, but Humphries was excellent and Fitzgerald has made him one of his favorite targets. Makes for a tough day staring down the barrel.

Do you remember in 2015 when we tried Colin Jones at nickel for a game or two before signing Cortland Finnegan?

Oh, dont get me wrong. I don't expect a change unless Captain gets injured or he does something to find his way back into Ron's doghouse.

I been saying for a lonnnnng time even before Captain left that he is a liability. Doesn't mean he can't make plays from time to time. But I don't trust him. Also also I tried telling y'all that Mike Adams is going to get us killed man. OJ Howard was straight abusing him

Yep, he used to be pretty damn good. It's just that at his size his game is heavily reliant on quickness and unfortunately quickness is the first thing to go. At 30 he's probably lost a step he couldn't afford to lose.
