Cam had more rush yards than CMC last season. This year hes only 227 yd less than CMC. Cam has been our RB since 2011.

There are several years where this has certainly been the case.  But this year he’s been a qb that can run when he needs to.  That’s the best Cam.

Yeah - never seen any signs that he's frustrated, although it's safe to assume he is. He told me at the beginning of the season that he gets better with more touches and more playing time. That was before we knew his role

Can you rightly even call that a "role" though?

Ever since he first showed up on the radar a few years ago, I can remember thinking "boy I'd love to have that guy be part of our team". This year it finally happened, and I was pretty happy about it.

When I saw us using him both solo and on field together with McCaffrey, I thought we had great prospects for the future. Then when he started disappearing, I thought "well, we must be saving him for the back half of the season".

Now, I'm just flummoxed.

One word: Scapegoat ...

Not only will McCaffrey be required to do the power bruising runs between tackles, He will also now be permanently picking up blitzes from people that outweigh him by 100 LBS. Rivera you incompetent boob. I just hope Tepper does not stand for thsi f*kery

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
