Worst unit on the team, even when we blitz we still couldn’t touch Stafford

 

 

We just lost to a team missing it’s number 1 WR, and their starting RB and TE both got injured during the game

Said before the game I’d be surprised if we got to Stafford twice. Don’t know if it’s players losing confidence in the staff or just being out of position or a bad DC but something needs to be done or we may not win another game this year

Same thing happened against the Giants.  We didn't even fart on Eli that day.  

Defense needs a complete rebuild, starting with our position coach who peter principiled his way to coordinator.

This front four is simply not getting it done. Short might be the biggest waste of money on the roster this year. He's supposed to be the stud on this DL and it's really difficult to even notice him.

This is the real reason why we are getting beat. No pressure. No pressure. No pressure. I don't believe our DBs are bad. Our LB's are definitely not playing like years past but that may have to do with how the line has been playing?  Unless we can figure out how to get to the QB we are screwed.

When you can't even get home when you blitz?  Welp. 

Building a defense that solely relies on turnovers to be effective is...not smart.  Especially when you only have one CB with actual ball skills.
