I never understood why we kept him in the first place. Just totally redundant with Samuel, Moore and Wright already on the roster. Hell even McCaffrey can return kicks or lineup as a WR in a pinch. I feel for the guy because he clearly worked his ass off to to make an NFL roster, but he just ain't cut out for it.

Yeah his in game speed just wasn't there. Unfortunate for the kid, wish him the best. He is likely gone.

I hate it for the guy, but his body is just not cut out for the game of professional football. At least he got paid for a few years.

Met him at the tree lighting. He’s a real nice guy. I gathered he’s been personally busy trying to get the family and stuff settled from moving back to the US from the UK.

Maybe he can make it in the CFL.  Game up there is probably more suited to him.  Wish nothing but the best for him, he's given us everything he possibly could.

I think those choices are more likely to fall to a consultant, possibly someone named Rooney.
