We actually have the worst defense in the NFL

At least since the season ended in Week 10.

Gonna feel vindicated a bit when Ron gets axed. Don’t know about you guys.

Lol do you not watch the games? We don't need a stat sheet to know that. We can't stop anybody from doing anything lol

We’re old and Ron is also forcing these old guys to take away snaps from our young guys. Let Gaulden play over Adams, let Butler get some PT over KKs lazy ass, let Smith get some PT over TD, let Carter get some looks at DE. Our defense is already terrible. Getting some young guys looks won’t make us any worse

Ron's fine with our d being ranked 32nd, he just doesn't want it to fall too much lower than that.

It's all on Ron at this point.

Put the players you've got in the best possible situation to succeed.

You can't be good at what you do and have the worst possible results.

How is it? Hurney went into the season with these knowingly aged players rolling the dice.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
