With Williams back, it would be a huge mistake to trot Kalil out at LT over Moton.  Though it wouldnt exactly be suprising since our Coach played our best LT at RT this season anyway.  What is suprising is any fan watching the mess and agreeing with it.

This fanbase has become so accustomed to watching this staff make mind blowingly stupid roster and depth chart decisions that it's like it's become a defense mechanism for them to try to convince themselves that these are logical moves.

It would be nice not to have to draft tackle. 

Retaining William's even if it's just a 2 or 3 year contract, is absolutely worth it. 

Him and Moton would be the best tackle situation we've had since gross and a healthy Otah.

QB

Someone to protect the QB: LT and RT

Someone to get after the QB: DE or rush DT

Someone for the QB to throw to: WR1

Someone to stop WR1 from catching the ball: CB1

If you have one of those, you try your best to keep them.

If you don't have one, you try your best to find them.

There is really no reason to sign a deal like that. JAG OT's have been snagging mega contracts. I suspect while his value may have taken a hit, the complete lack of quality tackles in the league will make him a hot commodity.
