10. We still need a DT more (Poe Sucks, Kyle Love is a free agent and 32)

Look I like the guy. But I am tired of us drafting first rounds players in a roll that will only be rotational. Look how much nickel we played.  So he is gonna sit on the sideline like Shaq did with TD. Just like Butler did.  We need to draft a guy in the 1st who will actually be on the field to influence the game.

I thought Will Witherspoon was going to be an awesome player when he left the Panthers as a FA. Will was a good player, but not the beast I thought he would turn into when he left the Panthers. 

I see some of the same qualities in Thompson. He'll be a nice player, somewhere, but I don't see him being a perennial all-pro.

      I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.

      Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
