Replacing Aaron Donald.

Deserved?

In terms of skill yea but after the Dallas game he was the focus of the OL as no one else on our DL can do anything worth a poo. He still had respectable TFL but DL is about as weak as is possible for a professional team.

The only player on our entire defense that Offenses even care about, are scared of, or notice is Luke...can see it in the game replays but we have such utter weaknesses good teams focus laser like on those like Munnerlyn in the slot...any competent team just throws slants until they score on Capt.

My immediate response is the same as it was over 20 years ago when I was moving to Virginia and got within range of a DC-based sports radio station.  They were crowing about some QB named Gus Frerotte, who was apparently a combination of Joe Montana, Dan Marino, John Elway, and a predecessor of Tom Brady.

My thought was that there must be two Gus Frerotte's, because the one I know of was not nearly as good as the one they were talking about.

Is there another KK Short somewhere that I missed?

Although, the Short I know of is closer to the Pro Bowl than the Frerotte I knew to the one they were talking about.

Gus Frerotte basically ended his nfl career by head butting a wall in celebration and causing damage to his c spine.

That is the one I knew of when I moved there.  I have no idea what happened to the other one they were talking about, because he was far too smart and composed to do something that stupid.

I'd add that Short never gave himself a concussion by head butting a wall.

And I never sacked KK in a peewee football game. Wow, that was forever ago. He was a whiny little boy then.

When I was back home 20 years later, my cousin was like “want to meet Gus”? I had been drinking and knew I couldn’t resist making fun of him so I just stayed away. All I could see was the “head butt”.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
