Davis says he would play in Atlanta

In a radio interview Thomas Davis says he would love to play for the Falcons and face the Panthers twice a year.

I said in another post that I wouldnt care if he played for a division rival, and I stick by that.  I think players should go out on their own terms.

Of course he would.  He will play for any team that gives him money.  I don't blame him.

 

I'd cheer against him until he retired though.

Of course he would. Why wouldn't he? 

Considering he's from GA, honestly other than staying with the Panthers the Falcons would probably be his next best situation and would require the least disruption for his family and considering he's in the twilight of his career those are probably some really significant factors for him. Honestly, if the Falcons offer him a contract I expect him to be a Falcon.

That is his home team.  It would be the same for Cam if we released him.  I don't have a problem with it.

I pull for Thomas Davis up until the day he puts on an opposing teams uniform and lines up against us. Then I want to see his ass plowed into the dirt until the final second ticks off.

Panthers had first dibs and decided to pass.

Davis playing for the Falcons, Saints or Bucs won't change my opinion of him.

He is still a class act.

Would love to have him as a falcon, but it doesn't sound like a DQ move to sign him and he is washed up. Wish him luck finding a team, I bet he is playing to put his family in a better financial situation. One of the Few Panthers I like besides splashy Cam.
