Man, I hate to see our name on this list. Seems to be consistent too. I really don’t think brown’s production will be any better than what we have already seen. 

I also would hate to see him handicap us for years to come

Is that a bad thing?  His production is insane.

I’d rather us not because it would cost money & picks, but at the same time it would be hard to complain about acquiring a Hall of Famer.  And his style of play should allow him to continue playing great for another 4ish years.

Brown being a nut case sucks because man would this be exciting if we could pull this off and still field a decent defense

I just feel like that cap space would be better spent on a pass rusher than a WR. Yes, Brown is phenomenal but we already have two young WRs oozing with potential and a pass rush that basically consisted on one player last year.

I would be against having any free agent pass rusher that occupied as much cap space as Brown.

#1, way too much money. #2, would take away snaps from DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel who showed a ton of promise last season.

You get arguably the best receiver in the game for about 12 million per year (because the Steelers are eating a large part of his contract in a trade).

For a 3rd rounder, I wouldn't be opposed. He'd 100% elevate this team alone given his insane route running. He's been carrying Big Ben out in Pittsburgh.

However, we do have more pressing needs namely offensive line and defensive line. Would rather we focus on those areas more-so than splurge on a wideout with DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel on this team.

Also, Voth posted on twitter it's not happening anyhow.
