At this point, DE is our #1 priority. But I'd be totally fine drafting a #1 CB like Greedy Williams. Satisfies your need for a Nickel CB & gives you security just in case we decide to let Bradberry go.

Honestly I could care less about the backup QB. If Cam cannot last this season with a mega contract coming due, we may look VERY different next year and be forced to draft a QB. I want Cam until he retires but that would be a very rough situation to be in. We don’t have enough money to pay a vet, and if Cam goes down multiple games we are screwed anyway. If he’s out the season is lost.

Last year was the year to carry the good backup QB...with all of those vets on their last spin around the merry go round.

Of course we (Marty and Ron) didn't do that, so here we are.

And I agree, this is the year to carry the cheap backup, and see if Cam can hold up all season.  If not, it's cut bait time, and that's gonna really suck.

I wish people would stop saying Ross cockrell's name

The panthers got him in the thralls of their "low, cost efficiency, does some nice things" naivete that permeates the organization every March. This has never been a valid formula for bringing a super bowl to the QC.

They've done nothing but tread water in FA so far and frankly the team looks absolutely set on taking the 7th or 8th best DL on the board next month and pinning their super bowl hopes on him.

The roster isn't bad at all. If we would have had a QB that could throw more than 15 yards, we would be coming off consecutive 11 win seasons. It all comes down to how #1 does in my mind.

I would hope Moton is playing LT instead of Kalil, he graded out great last year if I remember right.

As long as Matt Kalil is the starting LT I won't feel confident.
