He’s a scammer, and I can’t stand a scammer. Hopefully, he’s turned it around but this is a wtf pick for me

True, but I believe in second chances and if a person turns things around they shouldn't be judged solely on their past.

I'll be rooting for the kid.

Don’t get this pick. Ron said over and over again he wanted someone like CMC... well he got the exact opposite. Dude won’t even be on the field for 3rd down passing.

Could’ve got him as a UDFA... the ghost of Hurney 1.0 returns

1) Wanting somebody like CMC and getting another CMC are two different things.

2) CMC can go out wide now and you can leave Jordan in the back for blocking.

3) We don't know for sure if he would have been drafted or not. There will be a lot of people claiming batches of players drafted on day 3 should have been undrafted. You get the guy you want and hope it works out.

Police accuse Scarlett of adding $1,940 from a card owner in Carlsbad, Calif., to his girlfriend’s student debit account.

Guess details don't matter in PARTICULAR cases. True the money wasn't his. That part was restituted. The people in here calling this kid the worst are appaling. He smoked weed as a college student and tried to make sure his gf could stay enrolled for another semester. Meanwhile a certain QB was SUSPENDED for PED's for a year and not a peep. No problems with the second chance on that front. lol Predictable.

The earlier the round the more forgiveness there is...

why would anyone else be on the field on 3rd down when we have the best pass catching back in the league that has routinely been a 3rd down conversion machine for us

if you are going to criticize at least bring up worthy criticisms

cause you one of those self righteous people

Nah. Never have claimed to be.

Credit card fraud and scamming is something that I’m around, and deal with quite frequently. I don’t like it, and it is what it is. I also stated that I hope he’s learned from all that, as he’s a panther and I’m gone root for him regardless.

    • Been here a while but rarely post and most of them are smartazz. Mostly lurk just so I can sound informed while hanging out drinking beer in my neighbors garage. Amusingly a Huddle level of knowledge kind of makes you a subject matter expert. Thanks for that.
    • That’s similar as saying MVP Cam is the same as rookie Cam because his mechanics didn’t change. We’re talking about production.
    • In 2025 Sam Darnold had over 1k more passing yards than Bryce Young on 1 less pass attempt. Repeat that to yourself several times and let it sink in. I absolutely love it when people come on here and invoke Sam Darnold like some gotcha. Darnold is the physical prototype for what anyone needs in a franchise QB. All the physical tools. Few people thought he would put it all together on the mental side of the position. He used to make some of the worst decisions you would ever see. At times in the past he made up for that with absurd throws and athleticism. But make no mistake whatsoever no matter how you feel about our starting QB. Bryce Young is a completely opposite conundrum. He lacks virtually any and all physical tools and athleticism and his elite processing is really mediocre at best on a good day and horrific on a bad day. These are realities people should have already been addressing instead of quadrupling down in year four.
