Who is the surprise veteran Panthers cut of 2019?

Not too many would be surprising honestly. A few could happen that have been mentioned previously. Our RB room is cramped, so expect CAP gone, maybe Hood depending how the rookies pan out in TC. Colin Jones is the closest thing to a surprise because I think we have enough athleticism to replace him on ST (even though he is a killer on ST, no doubt). 

WR need to be cut down. I expect Aldrick Robinson to be cut, and either Torrey or Jarius or both of them also. Samuel, DJ, and Hogan are our best weapons and if those three are taken off the field for lesser options, we have a really, really bad situation with coaching and decision making.

Not sure there will be a surprise, but Cap and Torrey Smith should be at the top of the list for vets.

Some are saying to cut Colin Jones, but I still think he is one of our best special teamers so I don't see him getting cut

Darryl Williams: Health and we have Moton and Little

Torrey Smith: More youth and talent poured into the position 

Manhertz: Again, more talent has been put there

Addison, Obada, or Cox: May not fit the new scheme

Butler or Poe: Both were terrible last season. Need a good camp and preseason.

Darkhorse candidate: Bruce Irvin if Christian Miller has a fantastic camp and preseason and 1 or more of our 4-3 DEs from last season shows they can succeed in the new scheme.

So you're saying it would be a surprise if it happened? What a fitting thread I chose to list them in. This isn't about who I think should or will be cut, but would make me surprised if they were.

There is no reason that can be attached for cutting Cam or CMC to justify them as a surprise cut.

Hogan would be my guess. I would be surprised if he gets cut. CAP and Smith I wouldn't be that surprised. Butler I would be very surprised just because there is no real financial benefit to cutting him.

Will Grier...not a vet but a surprise.

I think the RBs will be CMC, Scarlett and CAP.  I personally like Hood a lot and that race could be tight.

Vet wise...Cockrell and or Smith
