Official Carolina Panthers at Chicago Bears Gameday Thread

Holy poo football is here. Well, kinda. Sure, it is a glorified practice but it is by far the best thing going.

What are you looking for tonight?

Personally, I am excited to see the young guns sling the ball and the competition on the edge. A few sacks tonight would make me very happy. But more importantly some consistent pressure on the QB would be even better.

If Scarlett was playing I would say the rb battle ...

As of now, the QB, WR's, OLB's.... Oline and Oline depth....Secondary depth..

Also, every free agent and rookie we brought in.

So....guess you could say basically everything.

Since Cam isn't playing I'd expect tho it to go something like:

Allen ...1st Qtr

Grier- 2nd and 3rd

Heinicke- 4th

And good Lord let us stay healthy..

I want to see

Allen-Q1

Grier- Q2-3

A GOOD dose of Holyfield

Let Burns play the whole 1st half. Plus a big dose of Haynes and Christian Miller.  Lets see what the hype is about

Sucks for the QBs but Greg Little needs a LOT of action tonight

knowing Ron (unless I missed a report)...I wouldn't be surprised if Grier starts off as the 3rd QB.

    • By several accounts, Tepper isn't as hardly as involved as he was. That's been the criticism: that he meddles. We didn't hear or see much from Tepper in the war room; he was basically trusting his team to do their thing without much participation as it pertained to wheeling and dealing. He is also saying the right things now, and, as evidenced by the formerly mentioned, following through. Earlier this year in a discussion with Mike Kaye, Tepper referred to Morgan, Canales and Brandt as a an "excellent management team." He also added, "We're just getting started, so we're just building through this year and...it's just building and building and building, and I think, you know, we'll build in the next few years."
    • Yeah the Broncos defense that year was ridiculously talented no doubt. Still for how good they were we were in the game late into the fourth. Manning was a horrid passer. But we needed to try and match the intensity. The only guy we had coming close to that was Kony Ealy and that's a sad indicator. At the same time it was plainly obvious the refs were not going to give us even an inch. I haven't been as passionate about football since that game and the 2016 season opener where the league openly allowed headhunting was the final straw. The league never wanted us to win it all and they sent that message loud and clear. Sadly our owner at the time was loyal to the league to a fault even until the very end when they ousted him before Snyder. Now we're stuck with the Tepper's. Man........
    • All I heard was uber rides, weight trainers, and t shirts??? Maybe some meals too........ What a monster and he should be tossed in a rusty wood chipper!!!1!11!!!!!
