I rode dirt bikes when I was 13-15.  When I was older, got a Cruiser, but it turned out to be to much work cleaning and maintaining, so I sold it.  Never came close to having an accident, but its probably a good thing I got rid it of.

I cant help but wonder how there aren't more motorcycle deaths.  I was on I-40 last week between Greensboro and Winston in 70 mph traffic and some young guy on a crotch rocket came flying by, whipping in and around cars.  One mistake by a car, truck, or SUV, and he is a wet spot on the road.  They are dangerous enough without being an idiot.

Damn that’s brutal RIP Cedric.

I love motorcycles but find it to not be worth the risk. You can be the safest and most aware motorcycle rider ever and all it takes is one driver not paying attention or on the phone for a split second and you’re dead or seriously injured, even at low speeds.

Yeah, I cannot see why people drive motorcycles on public roads. Every driver is so distracted these days, it's crazy the drunken swerving that you see and idiotic maneuvers people make. Doesn't matter how safe you are, there are too many people in cars that are too much of a menace.
