Official Bucs at Panthers predictions thread

I see the usual divisional game... hard fought and will probably come down to turnovers and a Slye kick to win it.

Bucs got torched by screens vs the 9ers. CMC will once again get a buttload of touches and easily go over 100 yards receiving.

Arians loves the aerial attack and is willing to let his qb get abused in exchange for some long completions. If our pass rush doesn’t get at least 4 sacks there’s something wrong.

Panthers 23

Bucs Suck 20

We should win I’m sure we’ll make it closer than it should be.  The usual wtf moments from Ron’s game management   Soft azz zone late with no pressure upfront , letting Winston look like A actual nfl qb

26-24 panthers

But if we lose RR’s seat may be too hot to sit in.

And if McCoy is gonna have a highlight game this should be it

30-21 panthers

Godwin and OJ Howard each with TDs for the Bucs

We get after Winston, a Lot, at least 5 sacks

1 of the teams will miss a FG

Cam completes at least one 40+ yards pass

Cam has atleast 5 rushing attempts

OL does a good job, Cam sacked less than 2 times

    • This is a toughie because I wonder what a guy like Canales thinks about redemption stories for addiction issues. Also, I think this is a case of 1 player getting caught, and not being naive enough to think this isn't more common in college than we think. I'd toss a 3rd rounder out there. 2026 is essentially a redshirt season regardless, so he's not taking over for any NFL QB next year. Best case, he's ready to go in 2027 if we pass on Bryce's extension. Worst case, he's our future backup QB2. Kid has the tools to be an NFL QB. I do think we could somehow land a '26 3rd round pick back in a trade. Our past years' third rounders are: Brazzell Princely Wallace DJ Johnson Matt Corral All this to say, I could see a team like the Jets going w/ a 2nd. They have three FRPs next year.
    • Alright man! We're here for it! Just glad you're keeping the doors open!
    • I think we've seen improvement in Bryce's performance. It still isn't up to world beater status, but in Canales defense, he can say that the limitations of the player were hit. I think he survives that even if Bryce doesn't. Still, I think it's a 50/50 shot for Bryce to make it. QB is one of the toughest jobs to do in the sports world, if not the most, so the failure rate is really high, no matter the pedigree. Heck, Archie Manning gets a lot of credit as a great QB but anyone who saw his career in motion knows he wasn't really that good and he was surrounded by bottom of the bowl players. He did get it figured out with his sons, though. That grandson... maybe.
